LBD

You can never go wrong with an lbd especially with this kind of lbd, an lbd with a twist. I love the asymmetrical cut of this dress, it makes me feel confident. This look may be more of a party look and that shows I dress according to my mood. Last Sunday, my refined edgy girl side dominated which is why I came up with this. I chose to wear eye-catching accessories to lessen the need for bling-bling.

White and Blue cos I Fell for You

After 100 million years of sleep, I am finally back!!! I promise to turn on my blogger side again, expect tons of new posts this week. :D

I wore this comfortable yet fab outfit to church and I would have to say that it's one of my "whew I don't want to change clothes ever" moment. For the past few weeks, I've resorted to flats and decided to embrace my 5'6" height hence the gladiator sandals piece. I also thought of wearing a hat but that might make Earth revolve faster and bring me the summer season haha.

The entire month of September + 1st week of October was a blast, it was a month of relaxation and fat-burning, I don't know how that could happen but that's what happened to me haha. I wish it lasted longer but sadly, field demo practices have passed, Foundation Day has passed, Teacher's Day has passed, I now have to face reality. :(

Quite a Match; Rain Panache

Sorry sorry sorry for not posting yesterday, people have interrupted (not the annoying kind of interruption, it's the you-have-to-attend-to-it kind of interruptions). Also, I apologize for updating just now, I honestly have lots of stuffs to blog about but you know school, I'm succumbed to the homeworks, activities and all the lessons I have to study myself.

To have these photos shot is a miracle considering Manila has been experiencing heavy rains since Friday, it was sad seeing some areas flooded and people stranded. Despite that, I still overlooked and focused on the good things- because of the isolation of people in their homes, I had quality time with my family, because of the cold breeze, I had oh so great naps + I had to wear pajamas all day! Also, I went to church with family yesterday and the message is making me thrive. We had the last installment of the series Let Us, which really enlightened my journey towards God.

For the past two years, I've been wondering why good things have to vanish, why people you love have to go, why relationships have to break and why do hearts tend to be cold and God answered me yesterday, "God shakes the earth so things that can be shaken shall be removed and things that can't be shaken shall remain." From time to time, we question such languishing experiences when all we had to do was trust on God and have faith on what's ahead, also to be grateful for the people who built you up and stayed.

Going back to the storm, I found this situation an opportunity to be set apart in terms of fashion. I knew everybody would be wearing jeans and boots and parkas and furry jackets and sweaters and knitwears and stockings in dark colors which is why I decided to be the light at the end of the tunnel or in my case, the neon in the midst of grey skies haha. My iridescent attire was like sending out good vibes to everybody haha. Btw, I don't know if "Rain charm"(oh look at me inventing words haha) makes sense (turned it to rain panache so it would rhyme haha)

Teen Spirit

The light is your friend

Don't fall into the traps of this world

After a month or more of being occupied by school works, here I am again! First week of school was really tough but now it's okay so I'll promise weekly posts hehe.

If you read my last post, I celebrated my birthday last week hence the happy feeling hasn't worn off nor it will wear off because everybody has been wonderful and I'm drawn to God. Earlier, I went to church and we had a new series called "Wikichurch", Pastor Bernard, the senior pastor in Christchurch, New Zealand did the first installment. He was so good, though he's a foreigner, he's understandable, he also has a sense of humor and he's very wise. He shared 5 Ps- Purpose, Power, People, Possible and.... PRUTAS hahaha. I love how he tries to speak Tagalog, oh we all know that we get merry when foreigners speak Tagalog haha. The thing that struck me the most though is the "Possible" - God only asks us to do possible things, he asks us to pray and he does the miracle, he asked Noah to build an ark and he's the one who cleared the skies, he asks us to live life according to him and he makes everything beautiful. :)

For the past weeks, Manila has been dry and very sunny but I ain't complaining because as what Jay said to Allison, "The light is your friend." And I think the light made my photos theatrical hehe.

If I can't sing, I'll dress as if I can

Improving :'D

"Daddy long legs"

Nothing can stop me from showing my long legs ahhaaah

Let me mourn for a moment because this is the last weekend before school starts. Tomorrow I'll be entering the gates of the stressful yet equipping Manila Science High School, I'm not really sure if I can handle the pressure but a part of me can't wait to memorize the periodic table, or speak whatever foreign language is assigned to us (really really hoping it's Mandarin) or feel like a genius by using scientific names. Haha. I think when I get through this level, I'll be proud of myself and I'll be far more intelligent than how I am today.

About this look, when I see someone wearing a hat or when I'm wearing a hat, it seems like I'm so musically inclined though it's given that I can play a bit of guitar but when I wear hats, I feel like I can sing, like I can rock the stage and affect people with my voice but sadly, no. I have no talent in singing at all, I'm confident hahah, but I admit it, it's really not pleasant to hear. With all that frustration in singing, I'm happy that I have  a gift in dancing (I'm not dressing like a dancer though :p)

Hat: Penshoppe
Knitwear: Mango
Puffy skirt: Vintage

For the past few weeks, I've been obsessing on legs and how overwhelmed I would be if I had supermodel legs, for now that I'm chubby (LOL) I'm really loving heels but I'd certainly exercise or something to have that supermodel legs hahaha.

In a Hobbit's World

Least accurate Coco projection

Caliraya is just a 3-minute boat ride away from these boulders, beside these boulders is a mini resto where we had lunch since our meal in Caliraya is dinner-breakfast-lunch. Their fried chicken was glorious!!! Better than kfc's or mcdonald's' or bonchon's. You really really should go all the way from where you are just to have their fried chicken haha.  The whole block was peaceful, no one screaming on top of their lungs, just birds singing on top of their feathery necks.

I named this post "In a Hobbit's World" because  I feel like I look tall in these photos, I don't know if it's because of the shack's roof or these boulders or just my mom's skills in photography.

Stars are wearable

"Sometimes bad things happen."- House- Apparently, the dslr thinks my tan is not enough. "The darker the chocolate, the better the taste." my camera believes.

Honestly I really wanted to wear denim shirt as a shirt then pair it with brown leather shorts but also, I love myself, I don't want to be fried, maybe not my skin, but my inside would sympathize with the marinated chickens in a rotisserie.

This day was really funny (I can't find words to describe it haha), a lot of my classmates had their fittings today and most of those classmates were the fashionable gays who I really admire, gosh I really wanted to be friends with them so we can all be fashion best buddies haha. Ate Mitch, one of my friends, had his fitting of project 1 and guess what? He wore sky high heels, see-through tights, he curled her hair, wore make-up then the project. He's so confident, he modeled in the room and even went to the Advanced Dress-making and Fashion design room, it was so much fun watching him strut his stuff haha. Also, Ate Legs who's in the Secondary had his fittings too, he made a dress-pants with cut-outs, it was so sexy! Ate Mitch tried it then modeled again haha. It was really funny, great atmosphere, just expressing yourself without anyone negating about it. I promise to take picture of them next time though so you can see how fierce they all are. :)

Quote again: "Sometimes bad things happen."- House- when the bell suggested that it was time for us to go home, I packed my stuffs and asked Teacher Beth where's the nearest Carolina's because I need trimmings for my clothes, she told me it was in Libertad and instructed me how to get there. My way to Carolina's was neat, no hassle, but it got tough when I was on my way home, the safest way was to ride the lrt. It was very spacious at first but when we got to next station it was like booom like everyone planned to ride the lrt at the same time. I was still relaxed that time thinking oh well tons of people are gonna evacuate on the next station, nya turns out fortune telling was not my thing. One or three girls left, and like 10 replaced them. Two stations passed and it's still the same scenario, when my station was next I was pleading "Excuse me po, susunod na po na station yung bababaan ko." I appreciated how some tried to move but I also understand that there was really no way to move haha. I got a bit paranoid as the train was approaching the station, but then I prepared myself, held my bags tightly, fixed my body in the best posture and tried to fight my way out of the door. For a moment it felt like they were zombies who wouldn't let you out but yeah I survived!! Haha.

Through Thick and Thin

I have curves HAHAHHAHAH
The only quite decent whole body picture I got haha

I feel so thin here, my arms are not so huge haha
Awww menya menasitsimaba whatever hahaha

"HAPPY HAPPY SUPER DUPER HAPPY DAY" is how I describe this day. When I woke up, I greeted Mom, Happy Mother's Day, gave her a big bear hug and kiss on the cheek. After a few hours we headed to church to listen to a very sensitive issue in society, which is marriage. I felt a bit sleepy since you know, I'm not yet married but I have to say that I learned a lot, things that I can use when the right time comes. "Being faithful doesn't mean devoted already, so if you don't do that, you're miles away from that thing called devotion." is what got my attention, at the back of my mind, lol everybody should hear this, I'm tired of seeing people cheat and be cheated on. The next events went smooth, together with my siblings, parents, grandparents and aunt, we strolled down Bonifacio High Street to get to the place where we would have lunch. Something made me joyful, more than the food, it's the sight of my family, enjoying the company of each other and sharing the same dinner or should I say lunch table. It was just promising, I would love to do it over and over again. :)
